Experience a traditional Finnish sauna evening in a truly unique setting – on the frozen sea right next to the city of Oulu. On selected winter evenings, a wood-heated tent sauna warms up on the ice in front of Nallikari, offering you the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful silence of arctic winter nature.

As darkness falls and the frozen sea surrounds you, the atmosphere becomes truly magical. Inside the tent sauna, wooden benches and soft steam create a cozy and authentic experience. If you like, you can take a refreshing dip in a crystal-clear ice hole, safely located in shallow water with a sandy bottom.

Washing is done with warm natural water. If you prefer, you may also use the public showers at the nearby Aalto Hotel. You can change clothes in the warm indoor facilities of our Nallikari Experience Center, located right next to the sauna area.
