Join us for a magical winter hike in Sanginjoki Nature Reserve, one of Oulu’s most beautiful forest areas. In winter, its rivers and woodland become a peaceful wonderland.

We’ll walk about 5 km along quiet trails through snow-covered pine woods and beside the frozen river. Your local guide will share stories about the winter forest, wildlife tracks, and the northern nature that thrives even in the cold. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to take beautiful pictures with your camera or phone. You can also ask about professionally taken photos of you during the hike.

You can choose to take a relaxing break by the fire, with hot drinks and local snacks available for an extra fee. Breathe in the fresh forest air and enjoy the quiet before we head back to the city.

A peaceful, refreshing experience for anyone who loves Finnish nature and wants to discover Oulu beyond the city.
