Begin your experience at Ronivaara Farm in the Ruka–Kuusamo region, where your family is welcomed into a calm horse farm setting. Before the ride, take time to meet the Finnhorse, brush and care for it together, and settle into the moment at an easy pace.

This first part is at the heart of the experience. It gives both children and adults time to become familiar with the horse before heading outdoors. After the introduction and safety guidance, set off on a short, peaceful trail ride in the surroundings of the farm. Children can be led when needed, helping the experience stay comfortable and reassuring for younger riders.

The ride is intentionally short and calm, making the whole experience feel natural for families and first-time guests. What stays with you is not only the trail ride itself, but the shared moment of meeting a Finnhorse in a respectful and caring environment.
