Begin your experience at Ronivaara Farm, where you’ll meet your horse and receive a safety briefing. Get assistance with mounting and initial guidance in the arena. Together with your guide, make sure that the start feels clear, smooth, and comfortable before heading out onto the trail.

Ride through the forests, field edges, and hill landscapes of the Ruka–Kuusamo region. Enjoy a trail experience with more flow, more time, and a stronger connection between horse, rider, and landscape.

The Finnhorse brings a steady, reliable character to the ride. Its sure-footed movement and calm strength allow experienced riders to focus on good riding feel, changing terrain, and the pleasure of moving through nature in rhythm with the horse.

After the ride, slow down in the stable cabin with a warm drink. This peaceful ending gives the experience a complete Ronivaara feel: skillful riding, meaningful nature, respectful horse interaction, and a warm finish.

This program is suitable for experienced riders who can control a horse at a trot.
Participants must be at least 12 years old.
Riders must have previous riding experience and be able to control a horse independently at a trot.
The ride is best suited for adults and experienced young riders looking for a longer, skill-matched trail ride.
