Follow your expert local guide as you snowshoe through a silent, snow-covered forest, climbing steadily toward the top of Kätkä Fell, which rises majestically beside the sacred Immeljärvi lake. Along the way, your guide will share stories about Sámi culture, local legends, and the unique Arctic ecosystem. The route leads through spruce and birch forests to open fell terrain, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Levi, the village of Sirkka, and the surrounding fells.
At the summit, enjoy a well-earned break with hot drinks and a snack while surrounded by the serene beauty of Lapland’s wilderness. The pace is relaxed, with photo stops and plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. On the descent, you can even try creating your own playful paths in the soft snow!
