During the tour, you will visit both halls and discover two different sides of Helsinki’s food culture. Hakaniemi Market Hall is a lively local favourite, known for its everyday atmosphere, Finnish products, design items, keepsakes, and traditional food stalls. The Old Market Hall offers a more historic setting by the harbour, giving you a glimpse into Helsinki’s long-standing market traditions and classic local flavours.

Along the way, enjoy a curated selection of Finnish tastes, which may include fish, meats, cheeses, pickled specialties, seasonal bites, pastries, and other local delicacies. Your guide will share simple stories about Finnish food, traditions, and everyday life, helping you understand not only what locals eat, but also how food connects to Finnish culture.
