We'll begin our experience by leaving Santiago at approximately 6:30 a.m. for the Cajón del Maipo area, a spectacular Andean canyon located 900 meters above sea level in the Pre-Cordillera de Santiago, known for its natural beauty and adventure activities. This picturesque place, nestled in the mountains, will surprise you with its local life and the samples of typical cuisine that you can find along the way. We'll have time to stop for breakfast at one of the typical places in the area (not included in the price), and then we'll continue on to Las Cascadas. During the tour of the Cajón del Maipo, we'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains, rivers, and lush vegetation. Fresh air and natural beauty will surround us as we venture into the heart of the mountain range. The highlight of the excursion will be a visit to the spectacular El Embalse del Yeso, a beautiful reservoir with turquoise waters surrounded by towering mountains. We'll also visit the Escondida Waterfall, where the contrast of the bright blue water with the white snow and the green vegetation creates a visually stunning landscape. We'll have time to explore the surroundings of both Cajón del Maipo and Embalse El Yeso. We'll find numerous picturesque places to take photos, from majestic mountains to serene waters. Every corner will be an opportunity to capture memorable souvenirs. On our way back, we'll visit the Chocolate House, a must-see, and the Plaza San José de Maipo, before continuing our return to the departure point. This experience undoubtedly combines the adventure and natural beauty of the Cajón del Maipo with the tranquility of the Embalse El Yeso. It's the perfect opportunity to escape from the city, connect with nature, and enjoy breathtaking views in a picturesque setting.
