Get ready for an unforgettable day in the heart of the Andes Mountains. This experience is planned step by step so that all you have to do is enjoy, walk, and connect with the nature of Chile.
6:00 AM | The trip begins! We will pick you up directly from your hotel. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as we venture into the unique landscapes of the Maipo Canyon.
Stop in San José de Maipo | A break with history We will make a brief stop in the charming center of San José de Maipo. This will be the perfect time to stretch your legs, use the restroom, and buy snacks or something tasty to take up the mountain.
Arrival at El Cabrerío | Start of the trek Here the route becomes a trail. From the El Cabrerío area, we will begin a guided, leisurely, and scenic 4-km trek (approximately 2.5 hours in total, round trip) towards the base of the imposing San José Volcano. You'll feel the power of the Andes beneath your feet, surrounded by a landscape that seems like something from another world.
Valle de Colina Hot Springs | The well-deserved rest After the hike comes the reward: a true oasis at high altitude. Immerse yourself in the warm waters of the Valle de Colina hot springs and let their minerals relax your body while you take in a mountain view that will leave you speechless. Please remember to bring your bathing suit and a towel.
Return to Santiago With incredible souvenirs and a refreshed body, we'll begin the return trip to the city for drop-off back at your hotel.
