After check-in at the meeting point, transfer to Laredo Bay Port to board a speedboat for a 45-minute journey to Magdalena Island. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided one-hour walk to discover the habitat of the Magellanic penguins at Magdalena Island, home to the second-largest Magellanic penguin colony in South America, with more than 120,000 penguins returning each year.
After your visit, continue cruising through the waters surrounding Marta Island, where you'll have the opportunity to observe a large colony of Patagonian sea lions from the boat, along with an abundance of birdlife. Keep an eye out for cormorants, skuas, kelp gulls, southern giant petrels, and, on occasion, elephant seals.
If you're lucky, you may also spot Peale's dolphins, Commerson's dolphins, and even sei whales during the navigation. The tour concludes with the return cruise to Laredo Bay Port and a transfer back to the original meeting point.
