商品説明
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your accommodation in Punta Arenas. Travel south along Route 9 to the trailhead, approximately 75 km from the city.
Start your hike along a coastal and forested trail, featuring lush evergreen vegetation including canelo trees, coigües, and Magellanic cypresses. The terrain is damp, so waterproof footwear is strongly recommended.
Arrive at the San Isidro Lighthouse, with views across the Strait of Magellan toward Dawson Island. Take a short break to explore and enjoy the site.
Return along the same trail. The guide may modify time at the lighthouse or return earlier depending on weather conditions.
The trail runs through humid coastal forest with mild elevation changes. Notable highlights include:
* Cypress Lookout Point: Rest stop with panoramic coastal views. * Peatlands: Important carbon-capturing ecosystems. * San Isidro Lighthouse: Still in operation, this structure is an iconic southern beacon with strategic location near Cabo Froward.
The presence of a professional guide is essential for safety and interpretation. Always follow the guide’s instructions, stick to designated schedules and trail sections, and help protect the environment by not leaving trash, feeding animals, or removing natural elements.
