Explore Rapa Nui's most iconic sites on a tour designed to uncover the island's history, culture, and unique landscapes, with no filler stops and a focus on the most important locations.
We will begin by visiting Orongo, the ancient ceremonial village of the Birdman cult, located on the edge of the Rano Kau volcano crater, one of the island's most breathtaking landscapes. From here, you can appreciate the vastness of the ocean and gain insight into a fundamental aspect of Rapa Nui's spiritual history.
We will then continue to Ahu Akivi, a unique site where seven moai face the ocean, aligned in a distinctive way and surrounded by a very peaceful natural environment.
Later, we will visit Rano Raraku, the famous “quarry volcano” where most of the island's moai were carved. Here, you will be able to see dozens of statues in various stages of construction, some still embedded in the rock, which allows you to understand how they were created.
We will continue to Ahu Tongariki, the largest ceremonial platform on Rapa Nui, where fifteen majestic moai stand aligned facing the ocean, creating one of the island's most iconic and photographed landscapes.
Finally, we will arrive at Anakena Beach, a beautiful white-sand beach surrounded by palm trees. There, we will visit Ahu Nau Nau, one of the best-preserved ahu on Rapa Nui, where the moai stand out for the detail of their carvings.
This tour offers a comprehensive experience to discover the essence of Rapa Nui, combining archaeology, ancient culture, and some of the Pacific's most spectacular scenery.
