商品説明
Most Puritama tours drop you at the pools and leave. This one walks the canyon first, with a local Atacameño guide and a group capped at six.
Starting from your accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama, we drive up to the trailhead at over 3,400 m and set off on foot into a canyon carved by a permanent freshwater river — a rare green corridor in the driest desert on Earth.
As you walk, your guide unpacks the geology of the volcanic walls, the native flora clinging to the banks, the birds and vizcachas that call the canyon home, and the Atacameño heritage tied to these waters. Trekking poles are provided, and an energy snack keeps you going.
The trail ends at the famed Termas de Puritama, where you'll have time to soak in a series of natural thermal pools, warm year-round and set among the rocks. Then we drive back to San Pedro.
Ideal for travelers who want the trek, the story and the soak — not just a shuttle and a swim
