As dawn breaks over the Andean peaks, you'll witness the magic of sunrise at the El Tatio Geysers. Throughout the day, our bilingual guides will share their knowledge of the geothermal wonders, native flora, and cultural significance of the region, providing an enriching experience that allows you to understand the geological formations of the El Tatio Geysers and the unique characteristics of this extraordinary environment.
Feel the high altitude as you explore the geothermal field, where hot water emerges at temperatures close to 86°C (185°F), contrasting sharply with the altitude of over 4,300 meters (14,300 feet) above sea level. Along the way, you'll also have the opportunity to appreciate the flora and fauna of the Putana River, observing the ecosystems typical of the Atacama Desert.
The experience also includes panoramic views of the picturesque village of Machuca and an exploration of the bofedales, ecologically important wetlands that stand out for their biodiversity amidst the arid landscape.
