Please Check That You Have Booked the Correct Option
We offer two different tour options. Please make sure you have booked the one that applies to you:
Option 1: Whale Safari including bus transportation from Tromsø. Option 2: Whale Safari for guests who travel to Skjervøy on their own.
If You Have Booked the Tour with RED Bus from Tromsø Your journey begins at Tromsø Bus Terminal (Prostneset). Meeting time: Please arrive no later than 5:10 AM. Look for the bus, clearly marked "Whale Safari – Skjervøy." Please board this bus for your transfer to Skjervøy.
Your bus ticket will be sent to you by email no later than 24 hours before your tour.
Meeting Point: Prostneset Bus Terminal (ground floor) Samuel Arnesens gate 5 9008 Tromsø, Norway Please go directly to the bus and confirm with the driver that you are on the correct departure.
Arrival in Skjervøy: After approximately 3.5 hours by bus, you will arrive in Skjervøy, where our guide will be waiting to welcome you. From there, we will take you to our base, where you will be provided with all the necessary clothing and safety equipment before the tour begins.
You will then enjoy a 2.5 to 3-hour RIB whale safari (depending on weather conditions) in the waters around Skjervøy, north and east of Tromsø.
