Chase the Northern Lights in Comfort — Same Great Chances as Any Small Group Tour
Join us on an unforgettable Big Bus adventure as we chase the magical Northern Lights across the breathtaking Arctic landscapes surrounding Tromso.
This tour offers *the same high chances of seeing spectacular aurora* as other small-group tours — but with more comfort, space, and warmth on board.
Guided by Arctic experts, our flexible, small-group experience is carefully designed to maximize your chances of witnessing the aurora at its most spectacular.
We never follow fixed routes. Each night, your guide will use real-time weather and solar data to find the clearest skies — sometimes taking us far inland or even across the border into Finland.
Relax in our warm, spacious bus built for Arctic conditions. You’ll enjoy panoramic views through large windows as we journey through snow-covered fjords, mountains, and valleys. The Big Bus is also equipped with an on-board toilet — a major comfort when traveling far into the wild.
Our passionate guides are not only expert aurora chasers, but also professional photographers. When the conditions allow, they will help you capture incredible portraits and landscape shots under the Northern Lights — included in the price. You’ll receive access to a personal photo gallery within 48 hours after the tour.
We also provide hot drinks and sweet snacks to keep you warm and cozy. On longer drives, we may stop for a proper meal break. Your guide will explain the science behind the aurora and share fascinating Arctic stories throughout the evening.
The longer you stay in Tromso, the greater your chances of seeing the lights. That’s why we recommend joining multiple nights — every tour is different, and your chances increase with each attempt.
Don’t worry if the weather looks bad in Tromso. We drive far — sometimes 2–3 hours — to reach clearer skies. This flexibility, combined with our experience and real-time data, gives you the best possible chance of success.
Even though no tour can guarantee the Northern Lights, we do everything possible to find them. Since 2012, we’ve helped over 60,000 guests see the aurora — many call it the highlight of their trip to Norway.
✓ Small group on a Big Bus ✓ Same aurora success rate as small van tours ✓ Toilet on board ✓ Professional Northern Lights photos included ✓ Hot drinks & snacks ✓ Free cancellation up to 24 hours before ✓ Trusted by thousands of happy guests
