In this tour, we will drive around the island of Kvaløya, the 5th biggest island in Norway where we will get to know three of the most iconic fjords in the area of Tromsø. The guide will tell you about the local geography, fauna, and the polar night. We will make a few stops to enjoy the scenery and take photographs. This tour includes a warm 2-course lunch (soup + dessert) inside the Sommarøy Arctic Hotel.
It is a great plan to enjoy the few hours of daylight enjoying the arctic landscapes. The tour lasts for approximately 5 and a half hours. It ends back in the city center at 15:30.
The destination is Sommarøy, “the Summer Island”. There we will enjoy a warm lunch inside the Sommarøy Arctic Hotel.
To return we will take the road on the south-east coast of Kvaløya. During this ride we can enjoy the views of the Sund and the mountains of Malangen.
The tour finishes at our original meeting point after approximately 5.5 hours.
