Leave Tromsø behind and join us on a journey through the stunning landscapes of Kvaløya, one of Northern Norway’s most beautiful islands. Just a short drive from the city, you'll find dramatic fjords, beautiful mountains, white beaches, and small fishing villages surrounded by untouched nature.
Along the way, we’ll make several stops at some of the area's most scenic viewpoints, giving you time to take photos, enjoy the surroundings, and experience the Arctic at your own pace. Depending on the weather and conditions, we often visit places such as Sommarøy, Grøtfjord and Lakselvbukt. All three are known for their crystal-clear waters, white beaches, and spectacular coastal scenery.
Keep an eye out for local wildlife. Reindeer are often seen on the island, and with a bit of luck, we may spot sea eagles, moose, or marine wildlife along the coast.
During the tour, we’ll stop at a scenic location to enjoy warm drinks and sweets. Your guide will also be happy to take photos of you throughout the trip, so you can focus on enjoying the experience. We’ll stop at a cozy local café, where you can purchase lunch, relax, and use the restrooms before continuing our Arctic adventure.
This tour runs all year round, and every season has something special to offer. From colourful autumn landscapes and snow-covered mountains in winter to blooming spring valleys and the endless daylight of summer, Kvaløya is beautiful no matter when you visit.
Whether it’s sunny, snowy, or somewhere in between, this is a relaxed and authentic way to experience Arctic Norway and create memories that will stay with you long after the journey ends.
