Join a real Northern Lights chase from Tromsø, guided by a local Sámi/Norwegian guide.
Your experience begins at Kirkegata 2 in Tromsø. Step into a cozy minibus and leave the city lights behind with a local guide who knows the fjords, valleys, mountain and weather patterns around Tromsø and Northern Norway. To give you the best possible chance of seeing the aurora, we check the latest weather, cloud cover and aurora forecasts before choosing the route — sometimes heading as far as Finland when conditions are better there.
Along the way, you’ll hear stories about Sámi, Arctic life and the coastal communities of Northern Norway. Our small group size allows for a more personal experience, space to relax by the bonfire with hot drinks and warm meal.
We also have access to several private viewing locations reserved exclusively for our guests. When conditions are good at these spots, we prefer to go there so our guests can enjoy a quieter experience, away from the crowds and other tour groups.
Throughout the evening, your guide will take photos and help you capture your own aurora shots if you have your own camera gear with you. After a memorable night under the stars, we return to Tromsø and drop you off at your hotel.
