Experience Arctic winter like a local on a guided ice fishing trip on one of Senja’s frozen mountain lakes. Travel to one of several carefully selected lakes, depending on snow conditions and ice safety. After a short walk or snowshoe approach, learn how traditional Norwegian ice fishing works.

No previous experience is required. All equipment is provided, and your guide will take you through every step. While waiting for the fish to bite, light a fire (weather permitting), enjoy hot drinks and snacks, and share stories about life in Arctic Norway.

Whether you catch fish or simply enjoy the peaceful winter landscape, this is an authentic experience that few visitors get to try.
