Your private full charter adventure takes you to one of Svalbard’s most remote and glacier-rich regions: Oscar II Land.
Traveling by private boat provides access to vast glacier fronts and untouched Arctic landscapes that are otherwise difficult to reach. As we navigate through spectacular fjords, you will experience dramatic mountain scenery, impressive glaciers and the true scale of the High Arctic wilderness.
At the glacier fronts, you can witness the immense size and movement of the ice, including possible calving events when large sections of glacier break away and crash into the sea. The route is continuously adapted according to weather, sea and ice conditions to ensure both safety and the best possible experience.
Along the way, there are excellent opportunities to observe and photograph Arctic wildlife. Depending on conditions, sightings may include seals, seabirds and whales. With a little luck, we may even encounter the king of the Arctic, the polar bear.
This private full charter experience offers a flexible and personal way to explore Oscar II Land, allowing your group to enjoy the landscapes, wildlife and photography opportunities at your own pace together with an experienced local guide.
Lunch, hot coffee, tea, toddy and cookies are served during the tour while you enjoy the spectacular surroundings.
