Enjoy the rich history of Gouda. This tour follows the historic sailing route through the city, which has been the only trade connection between Flanders and Dutch cities since the early Middle Ages. The Canal Tour also includes the Museum Harbour with its unique collection of resident monumental ships. The Canal Tours are provided with the Jan Salie and the Jan Kordaat, two authentic barges, a traditional Dutch ship type that provided water transport for centuries.
The ships breathe history but are equipped with modern conveniences: from an attractive covered deck and sun deck to a minibar and toilet.
