Begin your journey with a pickup from your accommodation in Zermatt. After a short 12-minute shuttle train to Täsch, board your private vehicle and set off on one of the most scenic drives in Switzerland.
Travel through the Rhone Valley, a corridor of vineyards, castles, and mountain views. Pass traditional wooden chalets, glacial rivers, and endless green slopes before entering the Bernese Alps, where the landscapes grow wilder and more dramatic.
Your first destination is Blausee, the “Blue Jewel” of Switzerland. Hidden within a peaceful forest near Kandergrund, this small alpine lake is famous for its otherworldly turquoise color — caused by mineral-rich spring water and a pure glacial source.
Take a short circular path around the lake, where ancient trees cast soft reflections on the surface. Stop for coffee or a light lunch at the Blausee Restaurant, a cozy lakeside spot overlooking the water.
From here, continue through valleys and tunnels toward Interlaken, where the two great lakes of the Bernese Oberland meet. This charming resort town is often called “the heart of Switzerland” — a hub for adventure, beauty, and serenity.
Take a walk through Höhematte Park, where paragliders fill the sky, or visit the Aare River promenade that connects the lakes. If you wish, your chauffeur can take you for a short panoramic drive to Iseltwald, one of the most picturesque villages on Lake Brienz, known for its tranquil harbor and mirror-like reflections.
The return journey follows a different scenic route, offering one last glimpse of Switzerland’s alpine diversity — from the serenity of Blausee to the majesty of Interlaken, and finally back to the peaceful valley of Zermatt.
