Start your day in the picturesque town of Vitznau, located on the eastern shores of Lake Lucerne. Board the cogwheel train, the oldest of its kind in Europe, and take a scenic ride up Mount Rigi. Along the way, witness breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, dotted with lakes, rolling meadows, and charming alpine villages.

Once at the top, soak in panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding peaks. This is a great spot for photos, short hikes, or simply enjoying the peaceful mountain ambiance. After descending back to Vitznau, the adventure continues with a leisurely boat ride across Lake Lucerne to the city of Lucerne.
