Begin in Piazza Grande, the heart of Locarno, surrounded by colorful arcades and cafés. Take a short stroll through the old alleys toward the Funicular Locarno-Orselina.

Take the funicular or walk up to the Madonna del Sasso, one of Ticino's most beautiful pilgrimage sites, offering breathtaking views over Locarno and Lake Maggiore. Walk back down from the sanctuary through the forest path or take the funicular again.
