The Alsace Wine Route, one of the oldest in France, extends over more than 170 km and 119 municipalities in the Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin departments. It is full of treasures, unusual places, and things to do that open the doors to a slightly more secret Alsace.

The route:
- Colmar: an iconic city of Alsatian heritage and the Capital of Alsace Wines. 2 stops: Colmar train station, Colmar Tourist Office-Unterlinden.
- Ribeauvillé: Capital of the fiddlers of Alsace. Stop: Bus station.
- Riquewihr: a must-see medieval city. Stop: Post Office.
- Kaysersberg Vignoble: famous wine-growing town and birthplace of Dr. Albert Schweitzer. Stop: Porte Basse.
- Turckheim: iconic fortified town. Stop: Porte de France.
- Eguisheim: cradle of the Alsatian vineyard and medieval village. Listed among "The most beautiful villages in France" since 2003. Stop: Town Hall parking lot.
