商品説明
Experience the breathtaking Hohe Tauern mountains and see how the incredible force of nature was harnessed by man's tremendous feats of engineering. Visit 2 water reservoirs, take a dam tour, and get a look behind the scenes.
Before starting your day at this magnificent scenery, exchange your voucher at the cashier's desk at the entrance of the reservoirs. Then, modern buses and the Lärchwand inclined lift will transport you to one of the most beautiful Alpine regions. You will ascend 1,200 meters in just 45 minutes.
Once at the top, you can walk along the lake and over the dam walls. At the Mooserboden kiosk you can register for one of the guided tours of the dam wall. Your expert guide will provide you with interesting facts and anecdotes about the history of the dam and you will learn about the interplay between technology and nature. Get the rare opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the structure and access the first inspection walkway. Important information: In order to be able to guarantee you a guided tour in English, we kindly ask you to contact us in advance.
After the dam wall tour, you should definitely have a look at the exhibition "Electricity and Water". Here you can learn more about the backgrounds and the history of the construction. Stay as long as you want, take a hike around the area, sit down for a picnic, visit the restaurant Moserboden, or simply enjoy the view.
