At Vienna Adventures, history is not hidden behind glass.
Step inside Vienna’s new hands-on history museum and discover the Habsburg era through authentic original objects and the fascinating stories behind them.
During your guided experience, travel through centuries of imperial Vienna and encounter personal objects connected to some of the most famous members of the Habsburg dynasty.
The highlight is an extraordinary piece of imperial history: an original umbrella personally owned by Empress Elisabeth “Sisi” of Austria. Its provenance is documented and has been verified by Dorotheum, one of the world’s oldest auction houses. Under expert supervision, you can experience this remarkable object up close and even hold it in your own hands.
But Vienna Adventures goes far beyond Sisi. Discover original objects connected to Emperor Franz Joseph I, Emperor Franz II/I and other members of the imperial court. Learn about the people who owned them, the world they lived in and the stories these objects still tell today.
Your experience is accompanied by a historian, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and discover details that go beyond a traditional museum visit.
Finish your journey with The Imperial Moment: step into an imperial setting in front of a historic carriage and capture a unique memory of your visit.
We have just opened our doors. During our Opening Weeks, be among the first guests to experience Vienna Adventures at a special introductory price for a limited time.
Don’t just look at history. Experience it.
