This powerful waterfall is set in postcard-worthy scenery. Descending in two stages, it has a combined drop of over 32 meters and spans nearly 20 meters in width, making it one of Europe’s most beautiful cascades. The waters of the Hvítá River originate from Iceland’s second-largest glacier, Langjökull, and rush toward Gullfoss. You will also visit additional stops such as Brúarfoss and Kerið volcano.
