We will explore the dramatic glacial environment that Iceland is known for, taking in the view as we snowmobile high atop the ice cap. Our ride takes us over a vast expanse of ice & snow to the ice tunnel entrance, nestled high atop Langjökull. As we enter the man-made tunnel, the glacier's heart reveals its secrets, with layers of ice and volcanic ash telling stories of decades past. It's a rare opportunity to witness the grandeur of a glacier from the inside out, in a safe and accessible manner. This is a chance to see, touch, and learn about the ice that shapes much of Iceland's natural beauty.
A valid driver’s license is required to operate a snowmobile. Children and guests without a license can ride a double snowmobile with a licensed guest. The minimum age for joining this tour as a passenger is 8 years. In case you are a solo rider or would require a snowmobile driver guide, please reach us out. We do not pair solo riders with other riders onsite.
