Take your trip to Stockholm to the next level with a memorable wildlife safari in Stockholm Forest. Get up close and personal with a wonderful array of animals, from moose and elks to beavers, deer, eagles, and much more.
Discover the magic of the forest at dusk, as you begin your trip in the evening when all kinds of majestic wildlife come out to play.
Learn all about the natural habitats of these fantastic creatures from an informed professional, as well as their behavioural patterns, diets, and where they can usually be seen.
On arrival, we hike up to a viewpoint. First things first, let's get a campfire going, bushcraft-style! We will prepare our dinner over the fire. Enjoy a local craft beer or juice together with your meal. Savour your food as your guide tells you stories around the fire about the different animals of Sweden and which animals you have a chance of spotting tonight. Woodland creatures like moose, different species of deer, wild boar, hares, and several species of birds, to name a few. Head down the trail looking for tracks and signs of the animals. Breathe in the fresh air and stretch your legs in a natural setting.
After the walk, hop back into the van to increase your chances of seeing wildlife by covering a larger area and visiting several hotspots. If it gets too dark, we use large torches so we can still see the animals. We keep track of the animals and how they move around throughout the season, maximising our odds of seeing wildlife.
Return to your meeting point in Stockholm by minivan at the end of your safari adventure.

Know Before You Go: Wildlife is unpredictable, and sightings can never be guaranteed. We do not feed, bait, or otherwise attract animals, as we believe wildlife should be observed naturally and responsibly. Our experienced guides monitor animal movements and use their local knowledge to choose the best areas to explore, including several wildlife hotspots reached by van
Know Before You Go: The experience combines a hike to track signs of wildlife, visits to different sighting areas, and a campfire dinner. After sunset, we may use a large torch to look for wildlife in the darkness. During winter (November–March), animals—especially moose—can be less active, so we take a longer hike to improve our chances while staying warm
