Welcome to Sáivvu Spirit, a guided day tour into the heart of Sámi culture, where ancient traditions and the whispering silence of the tundra come alive. My name is Niklas Blind, and I invite you to experience my world – shaped by generations of reindeer herding, storytelling, and a deep connection to nature and the spirit world of Sáivvu.
Your journey begins in Jukkasjärvi, where we drive 10 minutes away from roads and routines, out to our reindeer camp in the wilderness.
There, you will: • Meet and feed our reindeer, and learn about their role in Sámi life • Take a traditional reindeer sleigh ride through snow-covered forest • Taste Sámi-inspired food, served by the fire • Hear stories passed down through generations – about reindeer, weather, and the mysterious Ulda
• Learn how we read nature and survive the northern climate. Whether the sun shines or a snowstorm hits, we adapt like our ancestors always have. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of Sámi culture – not just through words, but through all your senses.
