Discover Gothenburg from the water on the classic Paddan boat tour with Stromma. This 50-minute live-guided sightseeing cruise takes you through the city’s historic moat and 17th-century canals, offering a memorable perspective on Gothenburg’s waterways, architecture, and maritime past.

Settle into the open-top Paddan boat and glide beneath up to 20 bridges, including some of the city’s famously low bridges. Along the way, your live guide shares stories of how Gothenburg was built, its former role as a fortified city, and the people, places, and harbour areas that shaped its identity.

The route continues towards the harbour and former shipyard districts, where you can see another side of this lively coastal city. With commentary in English and Swedish, this guided canal tour is an easy and entertaining way to experience Gothenburg’s highlights in less than an hour.
