One of France’s most beloved bakery treats is making a major comeback: the flan pâtissier. Join our chef in Paris for a hands-on pastry class and learn how to make this iconic French dessert from scratch.
During this 3-hour workshop, discover the techniques behind two delicious flans: a classic vanilla flan and a marbled vanilla-chocolate flan. You’ll prepare a buttery shortcrust pastry, make and flavor silky custard creams, create the marbled effect and prepare a homemade praline topping.
Working in small groups, you'll be guided step by step by your chef while learning professional pastry techniques in a friendly atmosphere. Enjoy your creations with a fresh fruit juice and share a convivial moment with fellow participants. At the end of the class, take home half of each recipe – the equivalent of one complete flan – to continue the experience with friends and family.
