Step into the historic center of Paris on this 2-hour guided walking tour exploring Île de la Cité, the birthplace of the French capital, and the elegant Île Saint-Louis. This outdoor experience traces the story of Paris from its origins as ancient Lutetia to the remarkable restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral following the 2019 fire.
Along the way, discover the Pont Neuf, the oldest standing bridge in Paris, the charming Place Dauphine created under King Henri IV, the Conciergerie with its royal and revolutionary past, and the magnificent Sainte-Chapelle, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly Notre-Dame Cathedral, where you will learn about its architecture, symbolism, and extraordinary restoration story.
The walk continues to the eastern side of the cathedral, offering views of its famous flying buttresses, before crossing onto Île Saint-Louis. This refined 17th-century neighborhood is known for its grand mansions, peaceful quays, and village-like atmosphere preserved in the heart of Paris.
Combining history, architecture, and breathtaking views of the Seine, this tour is perfect for visitors who want to understand the origins of Paris while exploring some of its most iconic landmarks. A memorable journey through the birthplace and enduring soul of the City of Light.
