Paris: Normandy Rouen, Honfleur and Etretat Small-Group Tour｜France

07:30  Hotel pick up and departure to Normandy. It is a 2.5-hour drive (190 km) on a highway from Paris to Pont-l'Évêque village to Calvados family distillery Christian Drouin. 

10:00 - 10:40 Arrival at Calvados Christian Drouin in Pont-L'Eveque. You will learn during the Guided tour at the distillery how Calvados has been made for centuries and have afterward the Calvados and Cider tasting with explanations by local staff.
10:40 Departure to Honfleur. It is just 20 minutes drive (16 km).

11:00 - 12:00 Walking tour in Honfleur with its famous port. Honfleur - the main defensive port of Normandy of the XV century, transformed into a charming resort town with a picturesque Bay, much-loved by the artists of the XIX century. Honfleur was first mentioned in 1027, when it belonged to the Norman Duke Richard III. The owners of the city changed several times during The Hundred Years War. In the XV century, there were French pirates - corsairs who ravaged the English coast. Later, in the XVII—XVIII centuries, the city became significantly rich in trade with the American colonies. After the port was closed, the city's economy declined and Honfleur became a suburb of Le Havre. Today it is one of the most known tourist cities in Normandy. The walking city tour takes about 1 hour.

12:00 - 13:00 Free time for Lunch. You can choose one of the cosy local restaurants or we can make a table reservation for you.
13:00 Departure from Honfleur to Etretat. It takes 50 minutes (46 km).

14:00 - 15:30 Arrival at Etretat. Walking to the famous Cliffs. You will enjoy breathtaking views and relax. Walking to the beach & Cliffs and Free time for Lunch. Étretat is famous for its chalk cliffs, including three natural arches and the Needle, which rises 70 meters (230 ft) above the sea. Etretat was a popular spot in the past for impressionist artists including Claude Monet - the founder of French Impressionist painting. Today it is a classical seaside resort nestled between two sets of chalk cliffs. You can walk on the beach or climb for excellent views.
15:30 Departure to Rouen. It takes 1 hour 30 m (96 km) mostly on the national roads crossing the countryside of Normandy.

17:00 - 19:00 Arrival at Rouen and Sightseeing Walking tour of Rouen starts. Rouen is the capital of the Duke of Normandy, the city of a hundred bell-towers, famous for its Gothic cathedrals. Here You will have the opportunity to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral of the XIII - XVI centuries, known throughout the world in the paintings of Monet, the area of the Vieux Marché, the place of execution of Joan d'Arc and the Church of Joan d'Arc.
The walking tour lasts about one hour. Free time.

19:00 Departure from Rouen to Paris. It takes about 2 hours (130 km).

21:00 Arrival in Paris and Drop-off at your hotel.
