Notre-Dame Cathedral is more than a monument — it’s a symbol of Paris’s history, faith, and resilience. This guided experience lets you explore it in three distinct ways, depending on how deep you want to go.
All tours begin with a guided walk around the exterior of Notre-Dame. Your guide will bring the Gothic façade to life, explaining the sculpted portals, rose windows, gargoyles, and flying buttresses, as well as the remarkable restoration work carried out after the 2019 fire.
From there, your visit continues according to the option you choose:
Option 1: Exterior Guided Tour only with Independent Interior Visit (maximum 15 people) Take part in a guided tour of the exterior, then continue inside the cathedral on your own. This option combines expert explanations outside with the freedom to explore the interior at your own pace.
Option 2: Guided Semi-private Tour (maximum 5 people) Enjoy a semi-private Notre-Dame tour with complete commentary on exterior and interior highlights from outside, followed by escorted entry for a quiet self-guided visit inside, respecting the cathedral’s silence and visitor rules.
Option 3: Private Interior & Exterior Guided Tour Experience Notre-Dame on a private tour with a dedicated guide. Enjoy personalized commentary and a flexible pace.
Option 4: Notre-Dame Cathedral: guided tour with official audio headsets: Enjoy a complete guided tour of Notre-Dame’s exterior and interior with a licensed guide. Inside the cathedral, official audio headsets are used for clear commentary while respecting the sacred silence.
