Discover and explore the main monuments of Nantes in a unique way, where every wall, corner, and façade tells a story and tells us about characters who shaped the history of the city. We'll go inside the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany, visit the cathedral and the Psalette, a 15th-century building, and learn the secrets of the half-timbered mansions on the streets of Verdun, Juiverie, and Bâclerie. We'll also walk the streets where the well-known writer Jules Verne grew up and visit the church where he was baptized. You will learn about the time the fearsome Jean-Baptiste Carrier spent in Nantes. We will tour the neighborhood that hosted one of his prisons, where we can still see vestiges of that era of terror today. We will also tour the interior of the Basilica of Saint-Nicolas, one of the first Neo-Gothic churches in France.
