My family has been rooted in the village of Vains-Saint-Léonard, a typical village in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, for more than 5 generations. Since my earliest childhood, I have explored this exceptional site day and night, in all seasons. Having been secretary of SAUTRAPEC (Association for the Preservation of Traditional Fisheries in the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel) and of the Maison de la Pêche à Pied et des Anciennes Salines (an association that has passed on its precious heritage to the Ecomuseum of the Bay), I am constantly updating my knowledge of the Bay through documentary research and testimonies from the men and women who have spent their lives in the bay.
