We have designed this tour to be an experience that is both rich and unusual. Don't expect to just ride a bike! Here, you'll immerse yourself in Lyon's culture with delicacies and even an introduction to "Boule Lyonnaise."
Starting from Old Lyon, on the quays of the Saône, get on our very comfortable electric bikes made in France. With family or friends, enjoy an exclusive route and the personal attention of your live guide for 2.5 hours.
You will first take the quays of the Saône to get into the leisurely pace of this ride. Your guide will then take you to the Pentes de la Croix-Rousse for an exceptional panoramic view of the city, which is much less touristy than the Esplanade de Fourvière.
The rest of the route will take you to the wonderful Tête d'Or Park and its 114 hectares of greenery, Lyon's true green lung. You'll come across flamingos and pelicans, among other things! You'll also have the opportunity to travel "to the tropics" by visiting the Botanical Garden.
It is also in the Tête d'Or Park that we will take a break that is both delicious and unusual. You will enjoy a delicious praluline and your live guide will introduce you to the local game of 'Boule Lyonnaise', which is similar to the famous 'Pétanque' from Marseille.
Finally, the drop-off is via a totally unique bike path: the ViaRhôna along the Rhône river banks. Here you will stroll along the Rhône River before reaching the famous Place Bellecour, where Louis XIV stands.
Throughout this electric bike tour, your live guide will share their knowledge and tell you secrets and stories about Lyon. This private tour is a unique opportunity to visit the city from the water, on a unique route that we do not offer on our other tours.
