商品説明
The activity is conducted using waterproof species identification booklets and waterproof tablets to enable participants (if they wish) to record the species they observe during the dive, thereby contributing to species monitoring, trip after trip, year after year. Your instructor will guide you during an approximately 2-hour session at sea, departing from a boat or from the beach, depending on the weather.
Our outings end with a debriefing over herbal tea made with honey from Grandma’s garden and Breton cookies.
The SDConservation Apnée freediving school is involved in several environmental projects. At the start of the outing, the group will be invited to read the Eco-Responsible Diver Charter. This time will be dedicated to a discussion on the importance of preserving our coastal areas. We will discuss SDConservation Apnée’s activities, citizen science projects, and the school’s initiatives in collaboration with local stakeholders.
The Program:
Out of the water: Briefing on marine life and the importance of preserving our coastal areas. Explanation of the species identification activity.
In the water: Underwater snorkel tour. Species counting.
What is included in the course price: 1 underwater snorkeling excursion at sea. Snorkeling equipment (wetsuit sizes XS (12–13 years) to XXL and fins sizes 35 to 48). 1 lesson on biodiversity.
What’s not included: Travel to Groix, accommodation, and meals. Certification or a diploma.
Meeting point: Groix Youth Hostel, by the CRESSI advertising banner.
There is a maximum of 8 people per outing.
Participation requirements: Ages 10 and up (wetsuit available at the club in size XS (12–13 years)); signed parental consent required for minors. Must be able to swim 200 meters independently without fins.
