The experience starts right on Rougeret Beach in Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer. Upon arrival, your state-certified instructor will give you a warm welcome, fit you with suitable life jackets and provide you with your equipment, including single-, two- or three-seater canoes and kayaks, paddles and waterproof bags.
Before heading out onto the water, the guide will give a short briefing on the basic paddling technique to paddle effortlessly, the essential safety rules and the day's route, which is shaped by the rhythm of the tides. Then it's time to launch: you leave dry land to glide smoothly over the calm, crystal-clear waters of the Emerald Coast.
The journey takes you through a pristine landscape where you will weave your way between rocky islets, accompanied by your instructor's captivating commentary on the coastal wildlife and local maritime history. The highlight of the outing is the stopover at the Ébihens Archipelago: you will disembark on a paradisiacal white sand beach to enjoy a complimentary local aperitif, an ideal convivial moment to savor the flavors of the region facing the sea and admire the famous Vauban Tower.
After this special break, you will take up your paddles again for the return trip, enjoying the changing light on the water until the final drop-off.
