A truly spooky and entertaining experience, our ghost tours are unique, just you and your guide! Meeting at a time and place to suit you, and proceeding at your own pace, the focus of the tour is the real life history behind a number of ghost stories, many of which are personal to your tour guide! Visit sites not available to big tour groups, and keep your wits about you as 2000 years of bloodthirsty events are brought back to life, with everything from Roman soldiers to a Queen of England!
Although designed to be entertaining and fun, all our ghost stories are based in historic fact. We don't employ gimmicks, actors or props, just storytelling at its very best!
Our tour guide has over 20 years’ experience taking visitors around some of the spookiest places in York, and we look forward to welcoming you to the world’s most haunted city!
