Stroll cobbled lanes edged with stone cottages and classic pubs, or wander into England’s Oldest Sweet Shop to sample nostalgic confections delighting visitors since 1827.
From there, continue to the market town of Grassington, a place that feels lifted straight from the pages of a fairytale. Often called the “beating heart of the Yorkshire Dales". The drive carries on through the breathtaking Dales to Hawes, a welcoming market town best known as the home of legendary Wensleydale Cheese. Enjoy free time for lunch and be sure to wander Hawes’ inviting streets.
Next, visit Aysgarth Falls, a dramatic three-tiered cascade admired for more than two centuries and famously featured in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
