Feel the adrenaline surge as you take on the white water rapids at Lee Valley White Water Centre in Waltham Cross. Hydrospeeding is a unique adventure that puts you right at the heart of the action. Armed with a hydrospeed board and flippers, you’ll experience the river’s power up close, guided by experienced instructors who ensure your safety and fun from start to finish.
Begin with a warm welcome at reception, followed by a comprehensive safety briefing and kit distribution. Once you’re suited up in a wetsuit and wetboots, head to the Legacy Loop for a short activity assessment to get comfortable with your equipment and the water.
Then, it’s time to plunge into the main event: up to one hour navigating the exhilarating rapids, using your board and flippers to steer, surf, and ride the waves. The course is designed for maximum excitement, with plenty of splashes and twists to keep your heart racing.
Throughout your 90-minute experience, be supported by professional instructors who offer tips and encouragement, making this activity suitable for both adventurous beginners and seasoned thrill-seekers. The session concludes back at the center, where you can reflect on your achievement and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the venue.
Whether you’re seeking a new challenge or a memorable day out, hydrospeeding delivers pure white water fun and a sense of accomplishment you’ll remember long after you dry off.
