Explore the Cotswolds on a private driving tour from Southampton. Visit the picturesque villages of Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Lower Slaughter. Stop at the town of Stow-on-the-Wold, the village of Burford, and the ancient ruins of Minster Lovell.
Depart from your hotel or cruise terminal in Southampton and head to the village of Bibury. Admire the stone buildings strung out along the banks of the River Coln. Continue to the town of Bourton-on-the-Water, known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds.'
Stop at the picturesque village of Lower Slaughter, one of the prettiest villages in the Northern Cotswolds. Continue to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest town in the Cotswolds. Stop for lunch and explore the town.
Have time to browse among honey-colored buildings, cozy pubs, narrow streets, interesting shops, and tiny tea rooms. From here, go through some enchanting Cotswold villages to the town of Burford, often called the 'Gateway to the Cotswolds.'
Spend the afternoon traveling along the stunning Windrush Valley visiting hidden villages and the highlight of the tour, the beautiful village and ancient ruins of Minster Lovell.
Return to your hotel or cruise terminal in Southampton by late afternoon.
