Discover Shaftesbury after dark on a guided ghost walk exploring the town’s ancient past, lingering folklore, and centuries of curious reports.
Perched high on its historic hilltop and shaped by the legacy of its abbey, Shaftesbury provides an evocative backdrop for an evening of storytelling and exploration.
Guided by an Extours host, wander through atmospheric streets and viewpoints linked with unusual sightings, forgotten tales, and stories passed down through generations. Each account is carefully researched, revealing the deeper, often overlooked side of Shaftesbury’s history.
Choose to take part in optional paranormal investigation using EMF meters, dowsing rods, and other recognized tools — or simply enjoy the atmosphere as the walk unfolds.
Avoid gimmicks and jump scares; the aim is to intrigue, not terrify, by exploring the genuine mysteries woven into Shaftesbury’s heritage.
