Experience the beauty and stories of Rhoscolyn on a guided walk led by Andy, a trained tourist guide and accredited Anglesey Geo Park expert. This 3-hour journey follows one of Anglesey’s most scenic coastal paths, with the dramatic mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) and the Llyn Peninsula as your backdrop. Along the cliff-top route, you’ll visit an ancient well, marvel at two natural sea arches, and enjoy stunning views at every turn.
Andy’s lively commentary weaves together the area’s rich history, local folklore, and fascinating geology. Learn about Rhoscolyn’s ancient past as you walk, and keep an eye out for abundant wildlife—Chough, Peregrine falcons, seals, and even a resident mountain goat are often spotted along the way.
The walk covers moderate terrain, mainly along the Anglesey Coastal Path, with an optional short scramble over rocks to reach a unique feature. The route can be muddy, slippery, and uneven in places, especially around Rhoscolyn Head and on exposed cliff sections. Suitable for ages 5 and up with good fitness, this walk offers a memorable mix of nature, history, and adventure. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy boots.
