The Bloody Sunday walking tour is facilitated by a brother of one of the men killed on that day. Some of our guides are also locals who were survivors of the Bloody Sunday Massacre.
The tour covers the civil rights era, Free Derry Corner, Battle of the Bogside, Bloody Sunday, the peace process, the public enquiries which followed Bloody Sunday (Widgery and Saville) and the Bogside murals.
This tour will provide you with a unique and comprehensive perspective on the complex history of Derry City and the events of Bloody Sunday as well as some personal anecdotes which can only be given by those who lived the experience.
