商品説明
Combine a guided tour of London with a discovery of iconic British culinary specialities alongside Pauline, a local guide passionate about culture and food, and always in for a good laugh! This experience invites you to taste traditional British dishes — sometimes overlooked by visitors — while exploring some of London’s most historic areas in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Your journey begins at London’s oldest tea shop, Twinings, where you will learn about the history of tea and enjoy a tasting, of course!
The tour continues through the Inns of Court, true oases of calm in the heart of the city, before passing along Fleet Street and stopping at the famous St Paul’s Cathedral. After crossing the river, you’ll take a short break to refuel with sausage rolls and freshly baked scones. Then you’ll explore the banks of the Thames in Southwark, where a certain Shakespeare once staged his plays, before reaching Borough Market, the oldest and most renowned food market in the city. Here, local and international flavours come together to create a unique culinary atmosphere.
You will taste traditional pie and sample artisan British cheeses, from Cheddar to Stilton, carefully sourced from a producer selected by Pauline for the quality and authenticity of their products.
No culinary tour of London would be complete without a visit to a traditional pub, a welcoming and essential British institution. There, you can enjoy a local drink accompanied by a Scotch egg.
This guided tour is ideal for discovering London differently, exploring its culinary and cultural heritage, and moving beyond clichés about British cuisine — all in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
