In the afternoon, continue to Oxford, where you will have at least 2.5 hours to enjoy the most famous university city in the world. The 36 colleges that make up Oxford University offer some of the most stunning architecture you will ever see. Oxford is known as the City of Dreaming Spires, and you will understand why as you admire these beautiful buildings.
Included in the price of your trip is an optional walking tour, led by your guide. This walking route will allow you to learn about the rich history of the city and see the best places of interest, including the Sheldonian Theatre, the Bridge of Sighs, the Bodleian Library, the Radcliffe Camera, St Mary’s Church, and the many impressive college buildings.
